JKL So Far

Wow- it has already been four weeks since Tyler was born- I can't believe how fast that went! Anyway we are hanging in there and enjoying our new little man. Tyler is now weighing in at over 9 pounds and is filling out so much. In the past four weeks we have had visits from Grandma Susie and Tano and RGE visited as well to help with things. We loved all the help and appreciate everyone who has brought us meals and watched Katie.



Katie has been getting so mature since Tyler was born. Her vocabulary has exploded, she now likes to color, she "helps" around the house, and she likes to try to use the big girl potty.




Katie has been spending a lot of time sliding down our new slide and loves to just be outside and push her stroller around holding only the essentials - sippy cup, golf ball, and race car (occasionally it holds a doll too). Katie officially becomes eligible for nursery at church this week- we are excited for that!


Of course Katie has also been "loving" on Tyler. She just wants to hold and kiss him all the time.


Tyler is doing really well. He is a great eater and sleeper. He is starting to smile, we have not caught a great picture of him smiling yet- but it is super cute.




Jared and I have just been busy adjusting to life with two kids. Also, with the weather being so nice we have had the itch to start on some yard projects. Last weekend we worked on putting in our stone stairs. Next weekend we are renting a dumpster and sod cutter to rip out all our grass in the back yard. Then we will be ready to re-do sprinklers, fix the soil, and re-sod. If anyone is feeling bored let us know- we'll put you to work!
